Still Here, Still Stalked

I haven't posted in quite a long time. It's not because things have stopped. Not at all. Today, in fact, I encountered quite a few of the stalkers that live in my building on Brickell Avenue. Now I know they don't think they're stalkers. But they are. They have been told all manner of stories to engage their eyes and ears to follow, mock and intimidate.

But make not mistake, the stories they have been told are not true. The people behind this campaign know the stories are lies. It's the only way they can get people to help them. You see, by creating a false scenario someone can control how someone else is perceived and influence how others act towards that individual. What I find somewhat amusing are my neighbors. God bless them. They're a determined and committed bunch. They're so committed they ride the elevators pretending to be coming and going from the building, often carrying empty bags to make them appear as if they're going somewhere with a real purpose other than stalking.

Here's what happened this morning.

Not the man in question, but this gives you a sense of what he looked like.
Not the man in question, but this gives you a sense of what he looked like.
  • One neighbor got on the 2nd floor as I was heading back to my apartment. He carried with him black tote bag with a golf club sticking out of it. This same man has gotten on the elevator with a golf bag but not dressed for golf. This man who got off on the 15th floor was just riding the elevator because someone told him to. He looked ridiculous.

  • Another two neighbors got in their cars in the parking garage and waited for me to leave. I'm guessing their goal was to follow me out. Some actually have. But these two waited. I went to my car to retrieve something and walked back into the building. When I was inside, I realized I left something behind. When I went back out these two residents were driving back to their parking spaces. They didn't leave the building. They simply wanted it to appear as if they were leaving the building.

  • There are other examples of people and their ridiculousness like the yoga girls or the sisters that got on the elevator wearing under-eye patches.

The sisters looked kind of like this.

  • I use under-eye patches and they were mocking me, a common tactic. How would they know I use under-eye patches? A neighbor goes through my recyclables. I kid you not. One day, I dropped off a bag of recyclables in the trash room and got on the elevator. I saw this neighbor, a man, walking down the hall. I realized I forgot something in my apartment and came back up. What did I see upon getting out of the elevator? This same man rummaging through my recyclables. He was on his knees digging through the bag. For the record, it didn't bother that the sisters (I think they're sisters, not confirmed) did this. Made them look stupid. I got a good laugh out of it too. As for the man rummaging through my garbage, I have no words.

Not my neighbor, who in fact looked worse than this.
